St. Teresa's school is a Christian school established by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Balasore and administered by the Congregation of the sisters of the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament (SABS). The school is under the religious jurisdiction of the Roman Catholic Bishop of Balasore. It is a Minority institution. It is open to all communities. The School Was established in 1971.
The school is preparing its pupils for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (I.C.S.E.) which is Recognized throughout India as equivalent to the matric and is taken at the end of standard X.
The school aims at the training of an integrated personality of The students to fulfill a noble role in life, committing their livessincerely to God and Country. The medium of instruction is English with Hindi as Second language and odia as third Language.( From Std.! to Std VII).
St. Teresa School receives no government or private aid, and Fees are its only source of income. Hence, fees have to be adjusted from time to time to keep up with rising cost and salaries.
